The leverback – setting for Rivoli is one of the many designs of earring settings. It can be said that in this group of silver findings it is of a special type, because it has locking mechanisms called leverbacks, which work like a latch. This solution closes its circumference, thanks to which the earrings are comfortable and safe to use, which means that there is a negligible risk of their accidental opening and loosing. Leverback earring findings may have elements for hanging loose pendants, or soldered forms (as in the photo) – as settings for stones, crystals or decorations made of epoxy resin. Designs with attached cups make the earrings static and shorter ear decorations. The offered earring settings are dedicated to large 14 mm Rivoli stones or crystals, made of polished hypoallergenic sterling silver. Their smooth cups are carefully profiled to the shape of the underside of the stone and has a very small rim that subtly embraces Rivoli. As a result, a properly-glued stone stays firmly in the cup, and its grandeur and splendor are fully exposed.
