Jewellery wires are semi-finished products made of precious metals, such as silver, which are used to create wire wrapping jewelry, or other elements like ear wires or pins. The wires available in our assortment are made of sterling silver 925 or 999. They have a different thickness and sometimes cross-section. Most often they are round, and such are included in our current offer. The degree of hardness of individual models results from the technological processes through which they pass - an example, is annealed and stretched. The diameter and fineness of the wire for jewelry making also determine the softness - the thicker the piece, the harder it is. As a rule, 999 wires are softer than 925 wires. One of the wires we offer is thin sterling silver wire 925. Its plasticity makes it a great choice for wire wrapping technique, which consists in creating jewelry from wires, most often by wrapping the thicker ones with thinner ones. The presented sterling silver wire will be used to make decorations crowning the entire work. For creating intricate, intertwined patterns, soft and thin pieces that can be easily formed will work best.
