It comes from the name of the 16th century, comprehensively educated scientist and inventor - Girolamo Cardano. He invented the joint (shaft), which later became the basis of the clutch structure. The chain segments are connected with just this kind of joint. The presented cardano chain by the meter is octagonal in cross-section, and the surface of its modules is flat and smooth, which effectively reflects light. The weave looks tasteful, does not tangle and bends freely, but there is a risk of breaking it. The pattern looks attractive, so it can be finished with a clasp and worn solo.
